Our Mission to Change How We Travel

ALO Auto was originally founded to alleviate the daily pain of urban transportation. After many experiences of untrustworthy and unsafe rides in the city, the founders of ALO Auto were keen to build a service to make getting a ride as easy and convenient as possible.

In 2021, we started operations in one city with just a handful of auto-rickshaws - humble beginnings for us. Now, ALO Auto is delighted to provide a service to millions of happy riders across dozens of cities a week with a focus on innovation for safety and customer service benefits powered by technology.

A Short History: A Little More About Us

ALO Auto emerged from a simple vision to provide everyone with urban transportation accessibility by implementing an established auto-rickshaw model. The founders understood that auto-rickshaws serve as the lifeblood of urban transportation worldwide. They also recognized the growing need for accessible and affordable urban mobility options to meet escalating demand.

What started as a simple proposition of providing rides by connecting riders with trusted drivers has evolved into a true platform that supports thousands of riders per day. We continually apply new technology to solve "old" problems and transparency into pricing, real-time tracking and result ratings among others.

As of today, we are proud to serve a growing community of riders and drivers in our city. Our platform has enabled thousands of Auto drivers to generate supplemental income and has provided riders with reliable transportation service at a fair price. Every time a rider requests a ride through ALO Auto, they are helping to feed the local Auto drivers and their families.

We are more than a ride-hailing platform; we are looking to form community of people who want to make their city a better place, one Auto ride at a time. As we create a sustainable platform, it becomes more than just the technology, we need to engage the driver community to ensure fair treatment, safe practices and to be a support system for shared growth and opportunity for all.

Our journey to Redefine Travel

The premise of ALO Auto is as basic as it can be to address problem of getting around town. Our founders tired of unreliable service and safety considerations envisioned a platform to book a ride that was safe and reliable.

In 2021, we launched what eventually would become ALO Auto in one city, with a few vehicles. That few vehicles and that one city has now become millions of happy riders, in dozens of cities, because of our unwavering commitment to technology, safety, and customer satisfaction.
